Prophets is the English name for the books of the Hebrew Bible called Nevi’im in Hebrew. We have animated many stories from the Books of Joshua and Judges (Shoftim) and look forward to adding more storytelling in the future on these epic stories.

The strapping, powerful one, the judge with the luxurious locks of hair — it’s Samson time! The Biblical judge’s strength, wrapped up in long, flowing hair, was given to him by God to save the Israelites.
But Samson was no faultless hero — rather, he was prone to chasing women and taking advantage of his legendary strength to win bets and slay armies. His reign of violence put an end to the Judges, causing only momentary peace followed by yet another takeover.

After the Midianites took over, the Israelites turned back to God. More than 22,000 soldiers volunteered to fight them but with the strength of God, Gideon only needed 300. So he tested the soldiers to drink from nearby waters and chose only those who lapped the water.
